About BST
BST is the science of striking.  Taking the best elements of Muy Thai, Western Boxing, Tae Kwan Do, Savate, Karate, Sambo, and Combatives, BST utilizes scientifically based principles of biomechanics and kinesiology to deliver one of the most effective striking program in the world.  The focus of BST is learning how to strike from any angle with maximum force and maximum precision with any of the 8 weapons (hands, feet, elbows, knees).  The goal of BST is to take a purely scientific approach to violence.  Utilizing concepts of range, zones, lines, shapes, and angles; BST allows for the complete mastery of striking.

BST Concepts

The main concepts of Biomechanical Strike Training are simple. Train your body to strike with any of your natural weapons, from any possible angle, with maximum power, efficiency, and accuracy. Utilize this concept to the utmost potential through sufficient repetition training in order to imprint it into muscle memory. By imprinting striking movements into your muscle memory and practicing these movements during physical, psychological, and emotional stress, you will be able to utilize these movements during actual physical encounters.

Psychomuscular imprinting is not magic.  It is work.  The hardest training you will ever do.  If you commit yourself to the challenge of evolving, commit yourself to failure, because your body will fail.  Face this concept.  Embrace it and come to the understanding that you must allow yourself to reach failure if you ever want to tread the path of ultimate success.

Open your mind to the knowledge that, no matter you martial arts style or street fighting experience, the human body can only move in so many directions. Psychomuscular  imprinting of these directional movements should be trained until they become instinctual rather than consciously cognitive. In other words, practice these movements until they become a part of your animal brain.  Get the cerebral cortex out of the game.

Once you do that, you are ready to take the next step.........

ERF: Explosive Reactionary Force

ERFT:  Explosive Reactionary Force Training

At the onset of any violent encounter, certain automatic physiological responses occur.

Every person has a switch that triggers the fight or flight mode of the body.  This is known as the RAS (Reticular Activating Switch).  The RAS acts as a toggle switch, determining whether our “leapord brain” (animal side) or “reasoning brain” (human side) is in control.  In emotionally charged situations, the RAS shuts down the cerebral cortex and our body goes into autopilot. The adrenal system goes into overload, dumping copious amounts of adrenaline throughout the body.  This is the moment that instinct and training take over.  That is why it is so important to become proficient at Explosive Reactionary Force Training.

For the average person, the thought of experiencing a physical encounter with someone, no matter the scenario or environment, is absolutely terrifying.  This is what ERF training addresses.  Conditioning of the nervous, muscular, and cardiovascular systems will result in conditioning of the automatic systems of the body, resulting in a better conditioned, better prepared, and more lethal human machine.  To put it simply, ERF training is not for the average person.

Explosive Reactionary Force Training is designed for LEOs, military, and security specialists.  Training includes formulas for joint destruction and lethal force.

Attacking joints

Through the utilization of ERF concepts, you will be able to destroy joint and motor function, enabling you to gain maximum control over an assailant in a minimum amount of time.  We stress economy of movement.  The formula for control is as follows.  ERF+SD+POI= PAIN

SD stands for strike direction.  No matter what style of martial arts you are taught, the human body can only move in so many directions.  One of the goals of this training is to teach you how to strike effectively from any angle, in any position, with maximum force and efficiency.

POI is Point of Impact.  You must not only know when to strike and how to strike, you must also know where to strike.  The human body is an incredible machine with many Force Points (FP).  Through the utilization of MROT (Massive Repetition of Technique), you will become adept at automatic joint destruction.  The rationale for attacking the joints of the body is that the human machine cannot function properly if joints are damaged or destroyed.
